- Each dog has their own private kennel space on concrete
to enable easy cleaning of the kennel and to minimize illness and
parasites.
- Each kennel is equipped with a dog house, water bucket,
and food bucket.
- Each dog is exercised daily by coordinated runs, retrieving exercises and/or
swimming.
- Each dog receives daily one-on-one attention with brushing
and personal
attention.
 
New Puppy Birthing
and Care
- Puppies are born in a special temperature controlled puppy house designed
especially for
newborns and
moms.
- Birth of each puppy is monitored closely and
socialization begins immediately.
- At birth, each puppy is weighed and markings, if any, are recorded.
- Dew claws are removed at 3 days old.
- Puppies are kept warm and on blankets which are changed 3-4 times daily.
- Puppies are weighed weekly to closely monitor with weight gain and
progress.
- Puppies begin soft mushy food at about three weeks, and
will be on hard dry food and weaned by the time
they are ready to go to their new homes.
- Puppies are birthed and raised indoors with whelping area
cleaned daily as needed to
minimize the possibility of bacteria, parasites, and illness.
- Puppies are raised on sanitary concrete flooring
and are only allowed to be on grass and dirt about a
week before they go to their
new homes.
- Puppies are wormed every 2, 3, 4, and 6 weeks.
They are given their first shots at 6 weeks of age.
