Please be assured that Moon Dust Labradors is not a "puppy mill."  We are committed to the maintaining the purity and quality of the Labrador Retriever breed.  We will not compromise our beliefs just to turn a quick dollar.  Our Labradors are a part of our family.  They receive regular vaccinations and are kept in roomy kennels with concrete flooring rather than on dirt and grass.  We also do not "over-breed" or cross-breed our dogs.

 

Chocolate Puppies

Born: October 18, 2008 
A wait list has been created for this litter.  I have contacted the people who have requested a puppy from this litter.  When the puppies are two weeks old, I will put a different colored ribbon on each puppy.  This assists me with puppy identification, temperament tracking, and collar conditioning. 

 

Puppy Selection:  At 3-4 weeks of age, the puppies begin to develop their "personalities."  If you have a deposit on a puppy, I begin scheduling visits to select your puppy (1st deposit, 1st choice, 2nd deposit, 2nd choice, and so on), or you can tell me what you are looking for in a puppy and I can direct you to the puppy that best fits your requirements.

 

 At the bottom of this page there is a chart that will show you the availability of the puppies along with the appropriate ribbon color and gender.  For more information about the puppies or sending a deposit, contact: klmoreland@att.net .  The puppies will be ready to go to new homes 11/29/08.

Birthday - October 18, 2008
The chocolate babies arrived in the wee hours of October 18.  Three males and four females are all weighing one pound or better and doing fine.

Week One
 No picture this week.
 
Week Two

Our eyes are starting to open and a couple of us are trying to walk.  We went for our first wagon ride today.  The sun was really bright, but our mommy people said it is best sometimes to have us in a bright light to take our pictures.  You can really see our shiny chocolate coats.
